Michelle Blackwell

Michelle (Meki) Blackwell is a Southern California native, soon to be performing in Civic Light Opera's production of Oklahoma!  A graduate of UCI's Claire Trevor School of the Arts, Michelle is a former Laker Girl who's commercial credits include Monday Night Football, KIX, and Universal Studios.  She has worked in the classical arena, studying under such people as Donald McKayle and Bonnie Oda Homsey, and has also appeared in the commercial scene, dancing for artists such as Beyonce.  Regional theater credits include Tommy Tune's Paparazzi, If Walls Could Rock, That's Vegas, and Ballroom Blitz. Internationally, Michelle performed in Tokyo for Disney's One Man's Dream (Snow White), and in Hong Kong for Disney's Golden Mickeys (Ariel).  She is a client of Clear Talent Group and has been training in dance for 17 years.  She is excited to be teaching the students of Dance Unlimited.
