Cheyenne
Cheyenne has been with Dance Unlimited for 9 years now and looks forward
to many more. Cheyenne has been dancing since the age of two when she
began training in jazz and tap. She continued her dance studies and at the
age of 17 she fell in love with hip-hop . Cheyenne became a part of
Culture Shock, with whom she danced for 6 years on both the San Diego and
San Francisco troupes. After Culture Shock, she began dancing with Urban
FX. Cheyenne has performed all over the world including Paris, France and
London, England.
Cheyenne has been teaching for over 15 years and has taught master classes all over the U.S.Cheyenne is a graduate of San Diego State University, receiving her degree in Psychology. Along with Eddie B., she heads up D.U.’s competition hip-hop program. Her awesome choreography and infectious teaching style have made her the recipient of numerous top awards at both regional and national dance competitions. Earlier this month, her competition number “History,” was awarded 1st overall at the Star Systems National Dance Competition in Las Vegas, garnering the students $1,100.00 in cash prizes! Cheyenne resides in San Diego with her 12 year old son Davin.
