Eddie Barcello

 

Eddie Barcello, 32, is a native San Diegan who began dancing at the age of fourteen, taking classes in jazz and ballet. After graduating from high school, he began dancing at Mesa College where he furthered his training in jazz. In 1995 Eddie was selected as part of the prestigious Nike sponsored performing troupe “Culture Shock”, which travels around the country performing and participating in special venues such as the Idea Convention-World Health and Fitness Expo in Orlando, Florida and The East Coast Alliance World Health and Fitness Expo in New York, New York. Eddie has taught at various dance studios throughout San Diego including the Academy for Performing Arts and Mesa College. He has guest taught at schools and dance studios as far away as Hawaii and Barcelona Spain. 
 
 Eddie is represented by the BLOC Talent Agency. As a professional dancer he can be seen on Nickelodeon, The Disney Channel and MTV. He has had the privilege of dancing with such artists as Britney Spears, Mya, Usher, Pink and the A-Teens. He appears with Jessica Simpson in the music video “Irresistible” and can be seen in the Britney Spears “Now and Then” Pepsi Commercials
 
 Eddie and his wife Heather have been featured on NBC’s “American Dreams.” They have guest starred in episodes featuring Usher as Marvin Gay, Ashanti as Dionne Warwick and Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys as Jay from Jay & The Americans. Eddie’s cutting edge choreography has earned the studio numerous awards, including the Spotlight Dance Competition’s National Title for the 5th year consecutively. This is Eddie’s 12th year on staff with Dance Unlimited.
